The first week of April was Spring Break for Brad's sister Carmen. They came down from Idaho and spent the week with us! It was their first trip to visit us in California!
We spent a lot of time by the pool!

Grandma took Aubrey walking around the pool.

My California Babe!

Who is my Rodan+Fields Sunscreen Billboard!

We got to have several girl days because Brad was at work and Grandpa wasn't flying down until late Thursday night to spend the weekend with us! We went and tried out a nail salon nearby and got pampered!

Grandpa flew in and we went to Magic Mountain Six Flags! She loves her Grandpa!

We were able to do stroller swaps when riding the rides. The majority of the group would wait in line and two of us took Aubrey in the stroller through the exit and met them. The employees were so great and we all got to ride!
This was when Brad and I waited together! Aubrey didn't get to ride but she made for great company and enjoyed walking around and playing in water fountains!

We stayed at the park until closing time and had a great time!!
Saturday morning we got up and headed to Pismo Beach. We had fun playing in the ocean but it was a little chilly with the wind blowing!

We went to Dinner at Big Sky Cafe in SLO and then treated everyone to batch for Dessert.

That night the Easter Bunny came!

Aubrey was excited about her Mrs. Potato Head!

Aubrey checking out what Carmen got!

I made a Bunny Cake!

Sunday Morning our company had to head back to Coeur d'Alene. We were so sad to see them leave but we had a fun time while it lasted!
The rest of April was filled with a lot of fun!
Brad and I went down to LA for a Seattle Mariner's game down at Dodgers Stadium! It was such a fun Date Night! Thank you Kristine for watching Aubrey!!
Brad got off a little early and we headed down for a little road trip!

It was Jackie Robinson Night/Civil Rights Night!

When we got to the Stadium we got Free Jackie Robinson Jerseys!

Jackie Robinson's wife and children were in attendance of the game!

All of the players on both teams wore Jackie Robinson's number #42

We enjoyed some hot dogs and had a wonderful time!

The rest of April went by so fast!
Aubrey got a Card in the Mail and was super excited about it!

In April, I met a Super nice lady at the park who lived in our same complex. Her family was preparing to move and she had some baby items they wanted to get rid of. One was this high chair that was basically brand new! Aubrey was so excited about it and she looks so BIG!!

She adapted to it very quick and now goes right to her high chair when she is hungry!

Yum!
In April we did a quick Temple Trip up to Fresno! Thanks to the Hupps we were able to do a child swap and both enjoy a session. It had been a year since Brad and I had done a session together and it was so wonderful! We had a great time!

Aubrey and Zoe got to play while the parents were away! It was so fun to watch them play together!

After the Hupps were done at the temple, we went on a tour at Justin's school, Fresno State. He is going to Physical Therapy school so he had to show us some of his skills! Brad got his back adjusted!

We had a great time walking around the campus!

Morning snuggles with the baby!

Aubrey got her first real booboo. She had fallen and hit her head on the corner of the ottoman.
April is always a celebration of my Brother Jon. His Birthday is on April 21. We went out to eat and had peach shakes at Chick-Fil-A in his honor. We miss you Jon! He would be 27!

For some reason Jon's birthday was the hardest for me to celebrate this year. Brad brought me home some pretty tulips!

On April 27, our beloved Grandma Hill passed away! She has been sick for a while after a stroke she had several years ago. We miss her bright smiling face and sweet hugs!
This was from our wedding in September 2011.

We will forever treasure these pictures!
This is a painting Grandma Hill had painted for Brad after he returned home from his mission! Grandma Hill's spirit is always in our home!
More to come with her funeral service in the May blog post.
