December was a wonderful month for us! Filled with a lot of fun and service!
Aubrey learned very quickly what candy canes were and wasn't very clean when eating them!
I added some fun things to my Christmas collection this year!
Some new stockings from Hobby Lobby

And a new tree skirt from HomeGoods!

I kept the tradition alive of doing an ornament exchange! My mom has been a part of one for over 20 years and I decided to start my own here in California. Part of the ornament exchange is to do a service tree! We found a family from church who was in need of a tree and new ornaments! The family was so excited! It was a very humbling experience! Thank you to everyone who participated!

Brad and I also helped a sweet family in our ward. Their dad was away for work and so we helped to deliver and set up a christmas tree! I serve with all of those cute kids in primary! It was so fun to see them so excited over something so simple! But it really made us get into the spirit of Christmas!

Aubrey found her love of coloring! Thank goodness for washable crayons! She colors everything... even her hair!

Aubrey also learned to randomly take off her pants!

I finally got to meet sweet baby Anders! I love their family so much! Recently the Alibrando's moved to Utah! A few weeks after the move they found out that Anders has Leukemia. He is now getting the care he needs at Children's Hospital! Wish we were closer to help! He is such a strong boy and is very loved!

We can't wait to see you in June!

We went out to lunch with friends and Aubrey discovered her love, like her momma, of french fries dipped in a frosty! YUM!!

We had a wonderful Christmas Party in our ward at church! It was a polar express theme, so all the kiddos came in their pajamas!

Aubrey waiting patiently for it to start!

This is Aubrey's adopted Papa Byron! He is our old Bishop! She loves him!

Aubrey dancing to music while we were eating breakfast!

Elder Burke gave us a great message on keeping the spirit of christmas in our hearts!

And then Brother Bulkeley came out as the conductor to take all of the children on the Polar Express!

They sat and listened to the story!

Aubrey was so proud of herself sitting up there with the big kids!

We got our tickets punched and went on a walk on the train tracks to go see Santa!

The Polar Express Train!

Aubrey was pretty nervous to sit with Santa again!

There was a couple of tears but then she was so brave!

While we were at the party Brad was coaching the young men in a flag football tournament! We headed over there to watch them play!

Aubrey played with Daddy in between games!

Aubrey playing with the boys too!

They won the tournament! It was really exciting!

Aubrey had a sweet visitor before Christmas! This is Sister Glende, Aubrey's nursery leader! She came to wish her a Merry Christmas and to give her a little gift!

It was a cute little nativity set!

She played with it for HOURS!

She loved Baby Jesus!

We are so blessed that she has wonderful Nursery Leaders!
Aubrey LOVES to go to church!

Brad and I had a wonderful Date Night thanks to our wonderful friends, John and Whitney Van Tassell! They own a spa in town and we had a gift certificate to have a steam room treatment! They also watched Aubrey for us so we could have a night to ourselves! It was very much needed! We enjoyed some sushi after the spa!

The next day Whitney and I surprised our other friend Tina for her Birthday! Tina is an amazing momma of twins and a baby boy, so a girls night was due! We surprised her at her door and took her to the outlet malls and went to Frugatti's!

We went to a movie too! We had so much fun! So great to have wonderful friends!

Aubrey and I had a cute little play date with some mom's I met at the park a while back. We call ourselves the K Moms, because all of our names start with K!
We decided to have a Christmas party! I made the snacks for the kiddos!
Grinch fruit skewers!

Reindeer applesauces!

and snowman string cheeses!

Getting ready to decorate cookies!

Aubrey loved it!

getting creative!

All of her cute buddies!

All hard at work!

Aubrey loves to play with Lily!

Thank you Katie for having us!
Aubrey got really mischievous in December when she learned how to open the pantry door. She learned what Hot Cocoa powder was all about!

How can you get mad at that sweet little face!

Christmas Sunday is always our favorite! Aubrey had a beautiful dress!

She makes it very difficult to take a picture of her!

We got our neighbor to take some pictures of us after church!

A sweet lady in our ward, Sister Houghton made these cute slippers for Aubrey! She is obsessed with shoes so she especially loves these! Sister Houghton is the sweetest and we are so blessed to be loved by so many!

We had some last minute shopping to do for Christmas. Aubrey was a great help and loved the toy section at HomeGoods!

Sunglasses in December!! California has very different winters than the ones we are used to!

She likes checking herself out in the mirror!

One of my loves is a Sonic Drink! Coconut Dr. Pepper! Aubrey was sleeping and I had a free coupon, so drive-thru it was!

After we got home there was lots of cuddles before Daddy got home for his Christmas Vacation!

We had a wonderful month of December! Stay tuned with all of our other Christmas festivities!
